It's Done!!!

Yes, I know...the site is not updated! Haha. We have been swamped and I haven't even been in town most of June!

The house is complete. We walked thru the house last week. They have a few minor changes but nothing too bad. I do the final walk on Wednesday the 2nd, and as scheduled, close Thursday morning on the 3rd!

So...with the 4th being a holiday...we are going to move on the 5th, which is my birthday!!! :)

I will put more pictures up soon (when Johnny gets to it!) And I will also take pictures of it after it is decorated!

I'm so ready!!!

Ok, so I haven't put any pictures up here lately, because I have been out of town! I do have some on my camera though!

Just wanted to update everyone that I will be doing my walk thru next Tuesday!!!! Finally!!! Hopefully there will not be much for them to have to go back and fix! The closing is set up for the first week in July. I guess it will depend on the walk thru. So I am assuming (crossing fingers) that I will get my keys on the 3rd!!! That would be great if it went by what is actually scheduled!

I will be taking off that week to move. Yes, my birthday I will be moving! Happy Birthday to me, you get a new house! :) So I hope to have everyone over ont he 12th. That may be pushing it!

...if this works...the last 2 blogs I wrote errored out...so I gave up!

At this point, you have missed all the way up to the brick and sheet rock on the house. I will have pictures up soon! But I forgot my laptop today!

Anyways, it is starting to look more and more like a house! The brick is a little chalky because they haven't washed it off yet. It has the stone up on the front columns, looks nice.

I am getting excited! They still have a ways to go...I am not sure what to expect next...

But I will keep you updated. At least by pictures, if this doesnt work! ;)

Geez....

Alright, so as you can see...the house is moving fast! We went by there Monday....they had all of the wiring done on the hot/cold water and some other stuff (not sure what it is!) They also had the bathtubs in...and some random things.

This week, I am hoping they have the roofing done, and maybe even starting on the brick.

I have been looking at a house that is 1 week ahead of me and another that is 2 weeks ahead....and so that is how I am comparing.

They are going so fast, but they dont seem to be moving up my completion date. I understand it is because things could happen, such as rain, builder issues, etc. But...after they roof it and brick it...they do not have to worry about rain. I do not think the inside will take another 2 1/2 months....so we will see!

I am hoping earlier....since my lease in my apt will be up! Cross my fingers!

I plan to go by there today...you would be amazed in what they could have done in 2 days....I will let you know!

Moving Faster....

Alright, so I went by there on Sat....the foundation was poured and it looks great! Its moving much quicker...and way more exciting. It almost seems real!

They should be starting to board it up this week, depending on the weather....and right now it doesn't look promising!

They work their BUTTS off. We stood out there watching them roof another house...it was amazing.

News....

Alright, well I have some boards down and plumbing! Johnny should have the pictures up soon, but we'll see. My house website is not his top priority! Haha.

That was last Sunday we went by and it was done...they are supposed to be pouring the foundation this week....so I am assuming we will probably go by there tomorrow and see if they have done it or not...

It should be WAY more exciting now! :)

Park

Yesterday we went by the house again...just to check...we went 2 weeks ago as well...I wanted to see if there was a SOLD sign up...there still isn't. :( I guess they are waiting until they are about to start. 3 more weeks and I should see something! Hopefully then my excitment will come back...right now its like, yea I got a house...nothing is happening though. Very boring.

The only fun thing was yesterday we took Johnny's nieces and Margarito with us to play at the park...it was a lot of fun. They wanted to go swimming! It will be a lot of fun this summer with the park and the pool for ALL the kiddos to come over!
